On the go...

We are so busy now and I never have time to update our blog. Here is the latest on our busy little family...

Hannah just finished up her CCYB season. They had a great season and tied for first place with the other BG team in the regular season. We ran out of juice and only made it to the third round of the end of the year tournament. We only have six girls on the team and they all gave 100%!
Now we are beginning our spring season with the Heat team. We are all so excited. It is a very competitive AAU/YBOA league. We will be traveling all over our state to play other talented teams. The Heat organization has been asked to host the state tournaments the week of May 15th (Happy Birthday to daddy!), so we will not have to travel out of town for that. Hannah's coach has his heart set on winning Nationals this year, so we are looking forward to an eventful season! You can see a picture of Hannah and her CCYB team on the website http://www.ccyb.com/ They are Ball Ground 2 6th grade.

We were also very proud of Hannah when she brought home her report card accompanied by a certificate for making Merit roll!

Alex has started soccer practice for the spring already. Two teams have merged to make one powerful team. Her season will also be an action packed one! Although Alex is one of the youngest on her team, her speed and natural talent amaze us!

Alex continues to excel with her academics. She also earned the Silver Comet Award at school for the character trait of responsibility. Alex also competed in the Oratorical contest this year. Her speech won her first place in her class and she went on to compete with the other 5th graders from our school. She did a great job and didn't mess up once, but unfortunately did not win. She is also a member of the 5th grade student council and participates in the 4H club. She is a busy little girl!

And she's off! Rylee is also a very busy little lady. She has started to explore more of her own little world each day. She has been crawling for about three weeks and is now starting to pull up on anything she can. We can't believe how fast she has grown over these last 8 months. She continues to keep us all smiling with her funny faces and growing personality. It seems like she learns something new everyday! We finally received our ticket to the ENT and met with the doctor on Friday. After reviewing her records, she recommended that we pursue with tubes for her ears. We hope this will bring an end to all of those mean ear infections. The procedure is scheduled for later this month. Below is a video of her and her new bike. You can hear her funny noises and see her cute expressions. And yes that is a bruise on her head from where she fell when trying to pull up on something.
